OVERVIEW

The main components of a dual-shaft shredder are two rotors with helically arranged blades. The motor obtains large torque after speed reduction via a reducer, driving the two rotors to move towards each other. During the movement, the cutter teeth on the rotors grip the materials, pull them into the area where the blades shear and pull each other, so as to achieve the effect of shredding materials.The dual-shaft shredder features low speed and high torque, making it suitable for shredding various types of materials. It has the characteristics of wide application range, low noise and no dust.The fineness of the shredded materials is related to the thickness of the shredder blades and the number of cutter teeth. The thinner the blade thickness, the smaller the size of the shredded materials; the more the number of cutter teeth, the shorter the length of the shredded materials.


All dual-shaft shredders adopt a microcomputer intelligent control system, which is equipped with start, stop, reverse rotation and overload automatic reverse rotation control functions, and has the characteristics of low speed, large torque and low noise.The bearing seat adopts a split type, which is easy to disassemble, assemble and replace blades, making it suitable for shredding extra-large, extra-thick and hard-to-shred materials.The shredder cutter is made of high-density alloy tool steel and high-wear-resistant mold steel, which is durable; the reducer adopts the national standard series with hard tooth surfaces, the motor uses well-known domestic brands, and the whole machine has a one-year warranty.

Working Principle:

Also known as shear-type shredder, the dual-shaft shredder reduces the size of materials through shearing, tearing and squeezing. This type of shredder is widely used for waste metals, waste plastics, waste rubber tires, wood and other large-volume wastes.It provides early-stage crushing and volume reduction treatment for China's waste recycling industry.The thickness of the blades and the number of cutter claws of the dual-shaft shredder can be replaced according to different materials and discharge particle sizes.When crushing hollow materials, a material pressing device can be equipped to increase output; when crushing tires, a screen can be equipped to ensure the discharge particle size.

Structural Composition:

As the name implies, the dual-shaft shredder uses two sets of rotors equipped with shredder blades to rotate relatively in the equipment cavity, and adopts the principle of shrinking the angle between the two shafts to squeeze the materials entering the cavity. Due to the special design of the blades, the materials entering the angle between the two shafts are fixed by the edges and corners of the blades, which further creates conditions for the shrinkage of the angle. When the force on the materials reaches the yield strength of the materials, the materials begin to break between the blades, thus completing the shredding effect.

  • Shredder Main Body: The main body of the equipment is welded with high-quality steel plates, subjected to stress relief treatment/overall machining, to ensure the stability of the equipment under long-term heavy load.
  • Moving Blade/Fixed Blade: The moving blade is made of alloy tool steel forged blank, through precision machining, multiple heat treatments and low-temperature freezing heat treatment technology. It has consistent overall toughness and hardness, can be repaired and used repeatedly, ensuring cutting performance and service life. The fixed blade adopts hook-type installation, which optimizes the blade replacement function and makes blade maintenance and replacement more efficient.
  • Bearing/Sealing: The bearing seat adopts a patented split and easy-to-disassemble type, which can quickly remove moving blades, fixed blades, bearings and other components, making it easy to maintain and replace blades. The unique sealing structure effectively blocks the contact between crushed materials and grease, and can also protect bearings and gears when processing liquid materials.
  • Cutter Shaft: Processed and refined with high-strength heavy-duty special steel, it cooperates with the cutter more reasonably to provide powerful power for cutting.
  • Reducer: As an important load conversion and output device of the equipment, the reducer of the dual-shaft shredder has an unignorable position in the whole shredder. A good reducer has high output torque under rated load and low power loss.
  • Motor and Circuit Control Mechanism: The motor adopts a three-phase pure copper motor, which can effectively extend the equipment overload time to prevent the motor from being burned out. Secondly, in terms of the circuit control mechanism, the dual-shaft shredder uses a Siemens PLC programmable controller for precise equipment control. If special materials need to be processed, the control system is also compatible with the servo motor driver to make precise adjustments to the motor speed and step distance. In the equipment safety self-locking mechanism, a heat-sensitive device is adopted. When the material shear strength is higher than the motor driving force, the main shaft of the machine automatically reverses to protect the motor.
